We Break Each Other

It’s sad how we break each other.. Bit by bit, we take each other pieces away. We lash out because we are hurt. In the process we end up hurting people closest to us. We lash out in order to make them see how much we are hurting, what we don’t realize is some of them do see it but they can’t do much to heal us. Because we are selfish not to see they themselves need healing. We all need healing. We all need fixing. As humans we are too selfish to see that, we are lost within our own suffering to notice everybody’s hurting, one way or another. As humans we want spotlight to be on us, we humans love to feel sorry for ourselves, don’t we?

They say love doesn’t just die by itself , we starve it, we kill it with our broken promises and poisonous words. We smother it with our unkind actions and selfish desires. It’s sad… how we break each other.

Zee!I can so relate to this.Love the last few lines “They say love doesn’t just die by itself , we starve it, we kill it with our broken promises and poisonous words. We smother it with our unkind actions and selfish desires. It’s sad… how we break each other.”
I’m in love with this song.Listening to it over and over.

Such sad words but a true message lies within. Often we are too consumed with ourselves to see others around us want to help us. We think we can be okay on our own and don’t want to be a bother. Sometimes they might not help us…but they can certainly cheer us on and help us see the light. Hope you’re well, Zee 💖

Very tender, actually those last two post I´ve read from you where quite the love theme and deep type of thing. Very well written, I actually have trouble believing that you of all people could write so well or come up with insightful thought´s but….. it is true!!! Job well done.

We do, but positive words are equally powerful. We can be broken, but it doesn’t have to be permanent. We’ll wear those scars at first and people can see them. But when good things happen, the scars fade and become a lesson of life. We can build us up again with words of love and hope. It starts with one act of kindness…

Great post, beautifully put. Sometimes I wish I could reach with a healing hand and “fix” people I see who are broken, but I would have to start with myself, wouldn’t I, as I too am broken like everyone else. Unfortunately sometimes the best we can do is be sure we don’t break the already broken pieces even worse. Like the song.
