Fleeting Moments

There is a reason why we ‘Fall’ in love, maybe it’s because we fall from a place of familiarity to the realms unknown to us before. We fall, we stumble, we twirl, we curl, we feel so much, from nothing to everything at once. It’s a state of change. It’s our hearts falling from a state of plateau and into state of arrhythmic revolting sensations. Every fiber in our bodies falling from a state of sensory comatose to sensory over load. It’s a continuous state of falling from places, feeling high and falling again. It’s a roll coaster. And you know what they say about roll coasters? They are exhilarating!

I love your prose. You select your words to resonate like the rhythm of a drum. I like this part ‘We fall, we stumble, we twirl, we curl, we feel so much, from nothing to everything at once. It’s a state of change.’ Poetic and true. Your awesome words feel like lyrics Zee. Thanks for sharing x

This so beautiful Zee…you couldn’t have explained it better. To be in love is exhilarating and what is even more thrilling is the thought of being loved , of being cared for , of belonging to someone. Love is intoxicating when it happens, and if you keep your expectations less and stay realistic , this rollercoaster shall never end…an occasional bump and halt maybe , but the fun is falling in Love again and again………. Nice picture too … ❤

Zee, what a wonderful post … it’s while since I was in love – but it’s a fantastic feeling .. and the best diet there is. Living on air. I wish you a pleasant weekend .

I hope when you fall in love the feelings are more than fleeting 😉 Maybe the intense, almost painful “as you’re falling” part, but the deep down should be lasting and lasting 😀

Human being is always attracted to that which is unknown. I think you are right. Feeling splash of a series of emotions altogether, causes us to succumb ourself to this phenomenon of falling in love. This subject puzzles me the most. Do you think love is a controllable kind of feeling?

And when you fall, you invariably get hurt, by all the expectations, games of trust, and the loss of one’s ability to think, clearly. Your vision gets clouded with jealousy, the lure of the happily ever after and before you realise that you are through that free fall and its difficult to stop, you land. Face down. Scrape your hands and knee, have scars on your heart and a mind jolted with insufferable memories.

That is why it is a fall, one that needs a lot of healing post the event, and still years later when you look back, you still find the scar and the bags of past relationships still lying there, cluttered.

Reblogged this on The V-pub and commented:
I’ve never re-blogged two bloggers posts in the same day, but today was a special day. First was Nimmi’s post about love, and now comes Zee’s post about love. You can sense in both of these posts the true meaning of love. I hope that you enjoy reading them as much as I did.

You’ve captured the feeling of falling in love, Zee. The sensory overload, the thoughts racing through our heads, associating every thing we pass or come in contact with that moment, that feeling. It’s so powerful that those associations last a lifetime. I loved the song! It really has an emotional tug to it. Thanks for sharing it.
