“Dear Human: You’ve got it all wrong.
You didn’t come here to master unconditional love. That is where you came from and where you’ll return. You came here to learn personal love. Universal love. Messy love. Sweaty love. Crazy love. Broken love. Whole love. Infused with divinity. Lived through the grace of stumbling. Demonstrated through the beauty of… messing up. Often. You didn’t come here to be perfect. You already are. You came here to be gorgeously human. Flawed and fabulous. And then to rise again into remembering. But unconditional love? Stop telling that story. Love, in truth, doesn’t need ANY other adjectives. It doesn’t require modifiers. It doesn’t require the condition of perfection. It only asks that you show up. And do your best. That you stay present and feel fully. That you shine and fly and laugh and cry and hurt and heal and fall and get back up and play and work and live and die as YOU. It’s enough. It’s Plenty.”

Thanks for the share, Zee. It’s a lesson that everybody needs to learn. The illusion of love can be so flawed.

This is very meaningful and deep piece of text, Zee. And it’s so true. We aren’t perfect. We all have our flaws, and to live a life and learn and grow, we have to embrace our flaws and stop thinking too much about ourselves. It’s funny how a lot of us want to be someone else – or have someone else’s hair, skin colour and fashion sense – and so forget that each of us are different in our own ways.
To love others, first we have to first love ourselves 🙂 ❤

Exactly, Different is what makes us “US”, The uniqueness, the flaws, The beauty in our flaws and everything else in between. I loved the way she out the ‘Ideal’ idea of love to rest, that there is no ‘Ideal’ love, Love doesn’t need adjectives as she said. Love is Love…in so many different ways…Simply put but so beautifully expressed by her.
Thanks Mabel for reading and leaving your thoughts with me ❤

“the beauty in our flaws”. Exactly. We can always learn from our mistakes. At the end of the day, love is a feeling. It can come from one heart, or it can come from two hearts and the feeling is mutually shared. No one is perfect. We’re all imperfectly perfect in our own ways.
Thanks for chatting as always, Zee. Loving you right back ❤

It was lovely chatting with you too Mabel. We are ‘Imperfectly perfect in our ways’ indeed. Cheers to imperfections that make us all beautiful and unique ! 🙂
